Brendan attended Iowa State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science. During university Brendan played goaltender for the Iowa State University Men’s Hockey team. Upon graduation he attended Gonzaga University School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate. He worked with the Cooney Law Offices in both the Personal Injury and the Criminal Law department prior to opening his own law practice. He is now back with the Cooney Law Offices.
Brendan is licensed to practice law in all Washington State courts as well as in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. He has defended a wide variety of cases, including infractions, misdemeanors, DUI’s and felonies. He has also represented plaintiffs in personal injury cases. Lastly he has done a wide variety of post-sentencing motion practice including vacating convictions, expunging arrests, restoring civil and firearm rights, and sealing court files. He is a member of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (WACDL) and is available for consultation.
